I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. McGinley further co~ented that he has worked with a number of councils <br />and working with the City of Ramsey has been most pleasureable and he thanked <br />BAmsey Council for their past efforts. <br /> <br />Mr. McGinley stated that he represents Ramsey Centre Associates and their plan <br />is to construct a shopping mall at the intersection of 167th and Hwy. 47. <br />Ramsey Centre Associates are Stephen Schmidt and Robert Muller. Mr. McGinley <br />requested Oouncil to establish a public hearing date of September 20, 1983 at <br />7:30 p.m. and stated that the bond firm will provide all necessary documentati~ <br />required in accordance with Minnesota law. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution %83-133 setting a public hearing date of September 20, 1983 <br />at 7:30 p.m. regarding the issuance of an Industrial Revenue Bond for Ramsey <br />Centre Associates, P~ey Centre Project.(Refer to resolution file for #83-133). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~1: Finance (A. Revenu~And Expenditure Report For Jul~ 1983; B. Cash <br /> Flow Report For July 1983): <br /> <br />a) Revenue and Expenditure Report for July 1983 - Council noted. <br /> <br />b) Cash Flow Report for July 1983 - council noted. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Case #2: Discussion Of City Code Chapter 110.14 Entitled "Weeds": <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />accept the reco~ndation of Planning and Zoning Commission to delete Paragraph <br />110.143 entitled "Growing Grass" and that Chapter 110.14 be placed in the City <br />Nuisance Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case %3: Preliminary Approval Request; Case Of Rum River Hills Planned Unit <br /> Development: <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Dom was present. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter noted that the issue of covenants has not been addressed <br />as of yet. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg and Mr. Schnelle stated that covenants will be addressed at final plat <br />approval and Planning and Zoning and council will have the opportunity to review <br />it at that time. <br /> <br />Mr. Dom stated that whatever P&Z has recommended in their findings is totally <br />acceptable to the developers. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg, for <br />discussion, to approve of the findings of fact for Rum River Hills preliminary <br />PUD. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Sorteberg inquired as to the density factor, <br />that the residential lots planned figure out to about a 1 in 6 acre density and <br />how does the City rationalize that with the 1 in 10 acre requirement. <br /> <br />C/August 23, 1983 <br /> Page 8 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
