I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> i <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Case ~8: Pet Clinic: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that if Council decides to award the bid to Anoka-West <br />because it is a Ramsey oriented business, then in the future there is no <br />purpose in calling for price quotes <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated that the best price quote was from Elk River <br />and it is unfortunate that Anoka West cannot provide more for the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter stated that Anoka West only provides rabies because <br />that is all that is required by State for public health. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />approve of adopting Resolution #83-69 accepting price quotes for the annual <br />spring pet clinic and awarding the bid to Elk River Veterinary Clinic. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #83-69). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Van Wagner. Voting No: Councilmember Schlueter. <br /> <br />Case #9: .~peed Zoning On 167th Avenue NW Between CSAH #5 And State Highway <br /> #47: <br /> <br />Council noted Minnesota Highway Department's reply to Council's request to <br />change the speed zone on 167th Avenue NW between CSAH #5 and State Highway <br />#47 from 50 to 45 miles per hour.. <br /> <br />Case #10: Amendment To The House Size Ordinance: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Ordinance #83-6 amending Chapter 170.01 entitled zoning (residential <br />structure size), Section 170.015I(6)VIII(A) of the City Code. It is <br />further directed that this ordinance be published in the official newspaper, <br />the Anoka County Union. (Please refer to ordinance file for Ordinance #83-6). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: Lord Of Life Lutheran Church; Request To Use Municpal Center: <br /> <br />Cheryl Sverecl - 5620 149th Lane - On behalf of the Church, I am requesting <br />permission to use the lower level of Ramsey City Hall to hold Sunday school <br />classes from September until ~June. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that as he commented earlier in the evening, it is the <br />intent not to grant use of lower level on a permanent basis. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that the church will make other arrangements <br />if there is a conflict. <br /> <br />Roger Larson - 7901 150th Lane- Lord of Life's problem is that of substantial <br />growth and utilizing lower level would be a temporaray situation. <br /> <br />C/April 26, 1983 <br /> Page 23 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
