Ability to either a) inquire, receive and send required Police information directly to the computer system at the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Criminal Justice Information System; State Deportment of Motor Vehicles; and 5tare Deportment of Transportation, Driver's License Division, or b) efficiently download data from the City's new computer system to a rented 5tote terminal (IBM 3126) and then to the State system. /~. Ability to inquire, send and receive telecc.~=~Jnications from other data bases at 1200 baud, 5. Sophisticated, mu[ti-level security system, primarily for protection of restricted Police information; user modifiable passwords. 6. Graphics: a. automatic loading of data from data base to graphing system b. screen bar graphs, preferably color c. hard copy single and double bar, Dine, and pie graphs 7. Ability for system to store selected search and sort instructions (for reports or other use) in order to produce report automatically in the future.
