Vendors must include a detailed description of the training <br />included in the proposed systerr~ plus any supplementary training available from the <br />vendor. <br /> <br />Vendors must specify the following: <br /> <br />a. the number of people who will be trained <br />b. the level(s) of expertise they will attain, md how this will be treasured <br />c. the approximate number of hours involved in the training program <br />d. a general outline of the training curriculum <br />e. the nature and cost of any supplementary training offered by the vendor or <br /> others <br /> <br />XlV. Service ~ Jg~intenmx~ <br /> <br />Vendors must specify the exact nature of the service and maintenance provided for <br />the system. This must include the following: <br /> <br />Hardware <br /> a. the details and cost of monthly maintenance and a comparison of a <br /> maintenance contract with regular service calls without a maintenance <br /> agreement <br /> b. the opportunities available for hardware upgrading in the future; include any <br /> financial and technical guarantees or constraints <br /> c. the nature of any and all hardware guarantees or limitations <br /> <br />Software: <br /> a. the availability, cost and details of a software maintenance contract, if <br /> available, must be specified <br /> b. the availability, cost and details of software updates <br /> c. the nature of any and ali software guarantees or limitations <br /> <br />XV. Costs md Fiming <br /> <br />All costs should be broken out by each hardware and software item, and should <br />include maintenance and service costs and any other costs such as that required to <br />post for a performance bond. Vendors with the information available are asked to <br />also estimate and include the costs of basic supplies. <br /> <br />Vendors should include alternative and recc~¥,'nended financing methods for the <br />proposed system- For example, indicate for this system whether lease/buy, outright <br />purchase or another financing method would be mast appropriate.
