The policies are discussed in the <br />enclosed documents. <br /> <br />These policies build on the Council's expemience in coordinating a wide range <br />of public and private activities and appty:~'that~e~peri,ence, to. new areas-- <br />economic development and its financing.;i..;'Th6'poti~ie~'and'jmptementation <br />program are scheduled to be adopted~Ona~"intemimi.;basi~.by'theCouncil in early <br />1984. They would be fully integra-t~d-~Tnto'the De~elupment ,'Framework chapter of <br />the Council's Metropolitan DevelopmentGuide'in.:~at6.1984. <br /> <br />The Council would like your comments and sugg6~tiods on this~-p'roposed policy <br />document. You may submit written <br />comments on the draft until Dec. 1, 1983. Questions about the proposed <br />policies should be directed to William Byers of the Council's Comprehensive <br />Planning staff at 291-6322. <br /> <br />Enclosed are two documents: a summary of the proposed interim economic <br />policies and the policy document itself.
