Mr. Greenberg suggested that an incubator building to assist incoming businesses
be pursued.

Case #2:

Discussion Regardi~g. Me~ing Between Planning and Zoning Commission
And Economic Development Commission Regarding Development Along
Hwy. #10:

Mr. Hardin stated that Planning and Zoning is receptive to the EDC's concerns
with development along Hwy. #10.

Consensus was that a letter be sent to Planning and Zoning requesting that a
special joint meeting of EDC and P & Z be scheduled to discuss development
on Hwy. #10.

Case #3: Discussion Regarding, Pamphlet On Ramsey:

Mr. DeLuca stated that he and Mr. Alsdurf have gathered pamphlets from other
communities; Mr. Alsdurf has those pamphlets but he is absent today; they
will be available for review at the next regular meeting.

Case ~4: Informatipn..Regarding Goal Se~ting Meeting Of Council And Commissions
On March 6~ 1986:

Ms. Norris stated that Staff is preparing action plans for each of the high
priority items identified; those plans should be formulated within the next
two weeks and will be brought back to their repective commissions or
departments for review.

Case ~5: Update On Development Around Landfill:

Mr. Terry Miller reported that it would be very difficult for any development
to occur around the landfill because of existing development limitations put
on those inventory areas. Anoka County is now in the process of preparing the
EIS for the site selection process. The EIS process will take 12-18 months
to complete. At that time, a choice of one of the 3 inventory sites (Ramsey,
Oak Grove and Bunker) will be made and development limitations will be lifted.
Mr. Miller also reported that Waste Management of Minnesota is in negotiations
with Anoka County for a facility to produce electricity from methane gas but
this will only occur if vertical expansion or Site P are realized. At present
incoming volumes, if there is no Site P or vertical expansion, the landfill
would be closing in 1987.

Case #6: Information Items:

A.
