Company that the loan committee will be meeting to take action on his
request for a loan from the revolving fund. Consensus was that the loan
committee will meet at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 1987.

B. Promotional Subcommittee -

i. Stock Sales:

No report.

ii. Business Liaison:

Mr. Kurak arrived at this time.

Those present discussed the purpose of the business liaison. Mr.
Raudio referred to the recent case of Council denying Duane
Lundeen approval to construct a residence above his business
(Chips On 10) and suggested that this case is one that maybe the
business liaison should have assisted through the processes.

Mr. Hardin commented that Duane Lundeen does have a nice looking
business; the bad publicity from the denial ruined three years
of economic development efforts; if surrounding communities allow
for portions of commercial buildings to be used as a residence,
then maybe Ramsey is going to have to consider the same in order
to remain competitive.

Mr. DeLuca stated that his vote to deny Lundeen's request was
based on a combination of the airport proposal, the Highway #10
Corridor Study and existing zoning.

Mr. Hardin requested that Mr. Raudio research surrounding
communities to determine how their zoning addresses residential
uses above a commercial business.

iii. Promotional Materials:

No report.

iv. News Articles:

No report.

Case #2: Update On "Discover Ramsey":

Mr. Wagner stated that bids have been requested for booths and tables;
Ramsey Elementary School is reserved for October 11; Mr. Hardin is
working on advertising; Mr. Muller is pursuing corporate sponsors.

Mr. Hardin stated that a budget for advertising is being prepared for
submittal to City Council.

Mr. Kurak was appointed to coordinate efforts of the Ramsey Jaycees and
Economic Development Company/June 4, 1987
