Fo~ Building <br /> R~novation And Yard Clean Upi Case Of Mr. Gordy Ofteldahl/ <br /> GO Racing: <br /> <br />Mr. Hardin stated that the loan committee met and review Mr. Oftedahl's <br />application and related documents. The loan committee is recommendeding <br />that Mr. Oftedahl's request be approved in the amount of $22,500. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Wagner and seconded by Mr. Kurak to recommend that City <br />Council approve Mr. Gordy Oftedahl's loan application in the amount of <br />$22,500 with the following terms: 1) Seven year loan period at 1% below <br />the prime interest rate; 2) Loan to be secured with a mortgagte on the <br />building and assignment of rents and leases; 3) Mr. Oftedahl's personal <br />guarantee; 4) Economic Development Company to disburse funds directly to <br />those businesses providing the services to Mr. Oftedahl. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mr. Hardin, Mr. Wagner, Mr. DeLuca, Mr. <br />Raudio, Mr. Miller, Mr. Muller, Mr. Kurak. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Mr. Greenberg and Mr. Fults. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLuca stated that there should be a policy regarding storage of loan <br />applications and related documents once the application is processed; the <br />applicant assumes his financial statements are confidential but State <br />Statutes says that anything approved by a city council becomes public <br />information. <br /> <br />Mr. Greenberg arrived at this time. <br /> <br />Consensus was that after a loan is processed, loan committee members will <br />return their copies of applications and documents to the committee chairman <br />for proper disposal; one copy will remain on file at City Hall. <br /> <br />Mr. Raudio stated that applicants should be made aware that if their loan <br />application is approved, the documents will become public information. <br /> <br />Consensus was to discuss with City Attorney Goodrich the issue of <br />confidentiality of loan applications from the revolving loan fund. <br /> <br />Case #4: Update On Highway 10 Corridor-Study: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that the first meeting with Barry Warner and Dorm Wiski <br />is scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Case #5: Discussion Regarding Confidentiality Of Company <br /> <br />Those present reviewed Mr. Goodrich's memo dated June 3, 1987 regarding <br />data privacy. <br /> <br />Economic Development Company/June 4, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
