Company, as a way of initiating commercial development, can purchase raw <br />land, plat, make improvements and market the land. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that Mr. Joe Sentyrz is preparing to develop several one <br />acre lots in the Industrial area in 1988. <br /> <br />The Board directed Ms. Norris to research the impact on private developers, <br />property owners and realtors should the Economic Company become involved in <br />land development; the possible sources of funding available to the Company <br />for such a project; the cost to plat; the cost to hold platted properties <br />with utilities and street frontage and any tax advantages the Company might <br />have; research the specifics of the adjoining lot law found in the Land <br />Development Act.
