Chairperson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #04-04- RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # ... RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO THE FRONT YARD SETBAC~ IN ORDER TO CONSTRUCT AN ADDITION ONTO THE EXISTING PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AT THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 17060 BISON STREET NW. WHEREAS, Chris. and Ann Lamprecht, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants," have properly applied for a variance from Sections 9.20.11 of the Ramsey City Code to construct an addition onto their existing home that will encroach into the fi'ont yard setback on the property generally known as 17060 Bison Street NW and legally described as follows: That part of the west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 32 North, Range 25 West, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of the east 165 feet of said west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter 631 feet north of the south line of said west 60'acres of the Northwest Quarter, thence west, parallel with said south line of said west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter a distance of 300 feet, thence north, parallel with said west line of said east 165 feet of said west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 200 feet, thence east, parallel with south line of west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter, a distance of 300 feet, and to the west line of the said east 165 feet of the said west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter, thence south, along said west line of said east 165 feet of said west 60 acres of the Northwest Quarter, 200 feet to the point of beginning and there terminating. (Subject Property) NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Board of Adjustment conducted a public 'hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on April 1, 2004, and that said public heating was properly advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as part of these findings by reference. 2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residential (Rural Developing) and'is approximately 1.2 acres in size. 3. That the Subject Property ts surrounded by properties zoned R-1 Single Family Residential (Rural Developing). 4. That Section 9.20.11 of the Ramsey City Code states that the front yard setback for structures is 40 feet. That the Applicants are proposing to construct an addition onto the principal dwelling that will encroach 6 feet into the front building setback line. ' 7
