CITIZEN INPUT

William Stack - 824 Jefferson - Anoka - Stated that he is at the meeting
tonight representing his brother, who lives in Ramsey. Mr. Stack stated
that his brother has a mobile home that is now located on 180th. His
bro~ther was in transit with the mobile home when he could not go any further
because of road conditions. His brother has received a letter from the
City Building Inspector stated that the mobile home must be removed by
March 4, 1983. Mr. Stack further stated that the mobile home was gutted by
fire and does require reconditioning. Mr. Stack stated that his brother is
requesting a 90 day variance in order to recondition the mobile home and
have it removed.

Council placed Mr. Stack: Case Of Mobile Home under New Business as Case
#9aa.

Wendy Studer - 15235 Garnet Street - Presented a gift of a "Community Edu-
cation'' tee-shirt to Mayor Gamec in appreciation of~his support of the
Community Education Program.

Mayor Gamec thanked her for the gift and stated that if it wasn't for the
Community Education Program, there are a lot of activities the children
wouldn't have and that the Program helps to bring families together and
that the money spent on the Program is wel~ worth it.

Mayor Gamec also complimented Marc Hadley and members of Ramsey Community
Education Program for their outstanding work in this area.

Darryl Fults - 15410 Barium - Mr. Fults commented that in attending Council
meetings at various other cities, he has determined that there is one thing
lacking at Ramsey Council meetings -- members, or at least a representative,
from each of the other City commissions should be present at Council meetings.

Mayor Gamec stated that Mr. Fults' suggestion did merit some review by
Staff and Council.

Marilyn Gallagher - 6905 151st Avenue NW - Stated that since the reconstruction
of Cty. Rd. #56, 151st and 152nd have no street signs, and requested that
they be replaced.

Merle Mevissen stated that the street signs were moved to the west side of
the street because the telephone company kept removing them everytime they
had some construction to do. He further commented that the County right-
turn lane signs are marked with the street names. Merle Mevissen also
commented that on a wide street like Cty. Rd. #56, it might be better to
have street signs on both sides of the street.

Mayor Gamec requested that Merle Mevissen review the situation and report
back to Council.

Rita Hoeschen - 6820 164th Lane NW - Submitted a petition to Council objecting
to a micro-wave tower being located at 16510 Nowthen Blvd. NW.

Mayor Gamec read the petition aloud and stated that this matter is on tonight's
agenda.

C/February 22, 1983
