PROCgEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, May 31, <br />1983 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Attorney William Goodrich (arrived at 7:41 p.m.) <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and Cub Scout <br />#376 led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Reimann presented a Letter of Recognition to <br />Cub Scout Troop #376 stating Ramsey's appreciation for their $25.00 donation <br />to be used to purchase trees for City property, for their help in planting <br />these trees and Mayor Gamec also noted that some of the members of this <br />troop helped during Ramsey Clean-up Day. <br /> <br />The regular meeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m. in order to conduct the following <br />Board of Adjustment Public Hearings and Public Hearings: <br /> <br />Mr. Donald Brown, 17260 Argon Street NW (Lot 5, Block 4, Riverwood <br />Hills Plat #1), request to place a swimming pool in front of the <br />front setback of his house. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Dennis Leeseberg, 17150 Baugh Street NW, request to construct <br /> an accessory building which exceeds what is allowed by City Code. <br /> <br />3. Off-Sale Liquor License Application; case of Mr. Paul Hertle, Paul <br /> and Bill's, Inc. (formerly Discount #10 Liquors). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular Council Meeting back to order at 7:51 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner <br />to take action on Council New Business, Case #4, at this time. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
