C~roline Acres: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox .~~~: ~-~ ~ and seconded <br />by Councilmsmber DeLuca to adopt Resolution #88-46 to receive the petition <br />and order a feasibility study for public improvements in Caroline Acres. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution $88-46). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes.- Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cox, DeLuca and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilF~ber Sorteberg. <br /> <br />~ase ~15: Discussion Regarding CORONA: <br /> <br />Councilmsmber Pearson stated that it would be appropriate for Ramsey to <br />make a decision regarding whether or not it is going to support CORfXgA. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember COx and seconded by Mayor Reimann to enter into an <br />agreement for a $35.00 administrative fee to join the CORONA organization <br />and to direct Councilmember Pearson to indicate to CORONA R~msey's concerns <br />and request not to be identified on CORONA letterhead and that Ramsey's <br />support of issues will be on a case-by-case basis. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich notedthatpreviously Council chose not <br />to join CORONA because of current negotiations with Metro Council for <br />additional sewer capacity. Mayor Reimann replied that Mr. Hartley can <br />issue a letter to CORONA regarding Ramsey's reasons for not wanting to be <br />identified on CORONA letterhead. <br /> <br />Motioncarried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, CouncilmembersDeLuca, Cox and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Case $16: Easements South Of Highway $10: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich requested Council direction regarding offers to be made for <br />sewer and water easements south of Hwy. $10 and east of Sunfish Lake Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson directing <br />City Staff to negotiate for sewer and water easements south of Hwy. $10 and <br />east of Sunfish Lake Blvd. at a rate of $25,000/acre. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, COx and <br />Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Case $17: Information Regarding A Lawsuit: Case Of Gallagher Versus <br /> V~n Wagner: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich referred to Ms. Gallagher's lawsuit against former <br />Councilmember Van Wagner and the City of Ramsey involving the Ramsey <br />Resident Newsletter. District Court has ruled in favor of Ms. Van Wagner <br />and the City and dismissed 13 of the 16 defamation claims. District Court <br />also dismissed Ms. Gallagher's civil rights lawsuit against the City and <br />Ms. Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Case $18: <br /> <br />Discussion Regarding Bid Specifications For Park Maintenanc~ <br /> And Sewer And Water Maintenance: <br /> City Council/March 8, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 13 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
