Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for River's Bend Park. <br />Riverwood .I Park <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that mowing, edging, litter control, emptying trash cans <br />and safety inspections should be adjusted to 15 times/year; aerification <br />and ballfield maintenance should be deleted; fence repair should be added. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for Riverwood I Park. <br />Shawn Acres Park <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that mowing, litter control, emptying trash cans, <br />inspecting and cleaning sand area and safety inspections is to be reduced <br />to 15 times/year; aerification is being deleted. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for Shawn Acres Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that repair and painting of picnic tables, cleaning of <br />grills, parking lot grooming and fence maintenance is being added. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca inquired if there are parking lot improvements <br />planned. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto replied that tennis court lighting is the only improvement that <br />has been discussed for Titterud. Mr. Otto noted that the lights the <br />Jaycees donated for Titterud tennis courts may be costly to operate. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for Titterud Park. <br />Traprock Commons <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that clearance of walks and trails should be deleted and <br />fence repair added. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for Traprock Commons. <br />Whispering Pines II Park <br /> <br />Mr. otto stated that litter control, emptying/cleaning of trash containers <br />and clearance of walks and trails should be deleted; area to be mowed is 1 <br />acre, not 3. <br /> <br />Council agreed with the level of maintenance bid for Whispering Pines II <br />Park. <br /> <br />Whispering _Pines I Park <br /> <br />Mr. Otto stated that clearance of walks/trails and repair/paint picnic <br />tables should be added. <br /> City Council/March 29, 1988 <br /> <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
