5 Minutes CASE #9: <br /> <br />MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AGENCY AGREEMENT <br /> By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Recently I received two copies of the revised Minnesota Department of Transpor- <br />tation Agency Agreement for approval and execution. This agreement would <br />appoint the Commissioner of Transportation as its agent with respect to all <br />Federally funded projects, to accept and receive all Federal funds made <br />available for said projects, and to let contracts for the construction and <br />improvement of local roads and bridges. <br /> <br />This agreement does not mean that the City will receive Federal funds; however, <br />in the event it would, this agreement would be required. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Technical Memorandum No. 86-37-SA-4 from Mr. Gordon M. Fay, Director <br /> of State Aid <br />b) Mn/DOT Agency Agreement <br />c) Mn/DOT Federal Aid Form No. III <br />d) Proposed resolution <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />I would recommend that the City adopt the resolution stated in the Federal Aid <br />Form No. III, authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to execute and enter <br />into the Agency Agreement. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #86- authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to <br />execute and enter into the Agency Agreement. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
