Judge Sokolowski in his letter that certain terms will be <br />expiring in the near future. <br /> <br />3. City Newsletter - Ramsey Resident -- <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the type of newsletter that has been <br />initiated by the City. ~he Commission also discussed the amount <br />of lead time required, 6 weeks, from when the articles are due to <br />the City and when they go to print; that the news is no longer <br />current but that old news is better than no news. <br /> <br />~he Commission did comment that they would like to see included <br />in future publications of the Newsletter a summary of action <br />taken at Council meetings, update from each of the City <br />Commissions, and ordinances that have been adopted. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Buchanan and seconded by Cc~mmissioner <br />Sieber to recommend that Council direct that a continuing item in <br />the City Newsletter be the City Map and that with each <br />publication various geographical data be depicted on that map <br />such as: <br /> <br /> 1. Sewer Installation <br /> 2. Storm Drainage <br /> 3. City Parks <br /> 4. Landfill and Proposed Expansions <br /> 5. Hazardous Waste Areas <br /> 6. Airport Plans and Affected Areas <br /> 7. New Housing Developments <br /> 8. New Roads <br /> 9. Zoning <br />10. Other Various Geographical Data <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners <br />Buchanan, Bauerkemper, Greenberg, Sieber and Data. Voting No: <br />None. ~bsent: Cc~missioners Gamec, Titterud and Lichter. <br /> <br />4. Setting of Meeting Date <br /> <br />Ccr~mission consensus was to hold a regular meeting on the 4th <br />l/lursday in April, 1985. <br /> <br />5. City's Compliance With Charter Chapter 7, 7.09 <br /> <br />Discussion ensued as to whether or not the City has complied with <br />Charter Section 7.09; designation of which funds are <br />transferrable and which are not. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that Council review Charter Chapter 7, <br />Section 7.09, get into compliance with that Section and provide <br />supporting documentation of action taken to Charter Commission. <br /> <br />6. 1985 Proposed Budget Published In City Newsletter <br /> <br />Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
