Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Titterud, Buchanan, <br />Data, Lichter, Sieber, Bauerkemper, Greenberg and Gamec. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Sieber to forward a summary of tonight's minutes to <br />District Court Judge and Ramsey City Council stating that the Ramsey Cha~ter <br />Commission has set up it's rules and procedures, quorum and fulfilled <br />necessary requirements. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec seconded the motion for discussion. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Gamec noted that the minutes should be <br />approved prior to distribution to District Court Judge and City Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber withdraws his motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Sieber and seconded by Commissioner Titterud requesting <br />Ramsey City Council to take appropriate action in order that Mrs. Sylvia <br />Frolik be compensated for minute taking at Ramsey Charter Commission meetings. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Titterud, Buchanan, <br />Data, Lichter, Sieber, Bauerkemper, Greenberg. Voting No: None. Abstain: <br />Commissioner Gamec. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Buchanan and seconded by Commissioner Bauerkemper to <br />establish a Charter Commission Budget Committee to establish a budget for <br />Commission approval and submittal to City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Titterud, Buchanan, <br />Data, Lichter, Sieber, Bauerkemper, Greenberg and Gamec. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Lichter and seconded by Commissioner Buchanan authorizing <br />the Charter Commission Chairman to appoint a Charter Commission Budget Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Heitman, Commissioners Titterud, Buchanan, <br />Data, Lichter, Sieber, Bauerkemper, Greenberg and Gamec. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Chairman Heitman appointed Commissioner Gamec to the Charter Commission Budget <br />Committee. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec inquired if any member had any problem with inclusion of <br />projected election costs in the Charter Commission budget at this time? <br /> <br />Commissioner Sieber replied that, technically, election costs would be a City <br />expense. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec replied that election costs are charged to the Commission <br />that called for the election. <br /> <br />Charter Commission consensus is to keep spending frugal. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gamec stated that from the City's aspect, there is no problem <br />with including projected election costs in the Charter Commission budget. <br /> <br />CC/June 2, 1983 <br />Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
