PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, <br />July 24, 1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Accountant Jean Haapala <br />City Attorney William Goodrich (arrived 8:10 p.m.) <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />and Councilmember Schlueter led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND B'OARD' OF ADJ'USTMENT <br /> <br />The regular Council meeting adjourned at 7:36 p.m~ in order to <br />conduct a Board of Adjustment public hearing and Board of <br />Adjustment on the following: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />Variance request to construct a garage larger than permitted <br />in front of the front setback of the principal structure; <br />case of Mr. Daniel KueChle, 15345 Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular Council meeting back to order at <br />7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Bob Yentsch - Ramsey Lions Club ~ Requested a conditional use <br />permit to conduct a sand racing event in conjunction with Ramsey' <br />10th Anniversary Celebration. <br /> <br />Council placed Mr. Yentsch's request on the agenda. <br /> <br />John Rowe - Requesting approval to subdivide a 63 acre parcel <br />into a 20+ acre parcel and a 40+ acre parcel with a single family <br />residence to be constructed on each parcel. <br /> <br />Council placed Mr. Rowe's request on the agenda, <br /> <br />C/July 24, 1984 <br /> Page 3 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
