<br />8.If utilized, roofs must provide practical shade and/or be integral to the farm theme. Materials <br />proposed other than metal, must be suitable for and have demonstrated durability for use in <br />commercial playgrounds. Concrete, GFRC or other resin based materials may be used. Please <br />provide specific warranty information for any such materials proposed. <br /> <br />9.The vendor shall specify, supply and install the playground border/container. Additionally, <br />show the required dimensions and clearances for the proposed design. Maximum area <br />available is shown above in the green + blue areas (generally). A CAD file with coordinates for <br />the area is available upon request. A full size, scalable site plan showing all required <br />dimensions should be included in the proposal submitted. <br /> <br />10.Care shall be taken by the vendor/installer not to damage or otherwise disturb areas beyond <br />the site he/she shall be physically working in. Additionally, during any construction, and after <br />those hours, the vendor shall make reasonable accommodations to keep the site safe for the <br />general public. <br /> <br />11.Selection criteria will be based upon number, variety and quality of events provided in the <br />overall design which meet the design expectations for play value and best integrate any theme <br />within the budget limit. The selection of the winning proposal will be based on the holistic <br />proposal, not just the playground. It is the responsibility of the vendor to provide narrative <br />and/or other information to fully support the proposal. <br /> <br />12.Provide at least one bay of swings, 1 tot seat and one Accessible molded seat. it will work <br />If <br />within the available site, an additional bay of swings at a height of 8 feet with two strap seats is <br />desired. <br /> <br />NOTE: There are no minimum equipment components required other than those which may be <br />listed above. Vendors are encouraged to provide as much overall play value, challenge, creativity <br />and variety of play as possible. <br /> <br /> <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR ELMCREST PARK SITE AND LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS: <br />1.Provide diagrammatic examples of flow or circulation paths within the playground, and around <br />the playground. Demonstrate that the older aged kids have no need to run through the <br />younger aged kids play equipment, and vice versa. <br /> <br />2.Provide seating around the playground for parents or guardians, in an area that is convenient, <br />and allows for clear views of the playground. Seating, or seat walls may also be used to reduce <br /> <br />
