Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Sorteberg to adopt Ordinance #84-13, Chapter 10.11, which is known <br />as City fund accounts. Further, this ordinance will be published in <br />the official newspaper and will take effect 30 days after its <br />publication as required by Section 3 of the City Charter. (Please <br />refer to ordinance file for Ordinance #84-13). <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called for a roll call vote: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg - Aye <br />Councilmember Van Wagner - Aye <br />Mayor Gamec- Aye <br />Councilmember Reimann- Aye <br />Councilmember Schlueter - Aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />c) Ordinance #84-14 Establishing Solid Waste Deposit Fee - <br /> <br />1) Reading Of Ordinance - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilm~mber Van <br />Wagner to dispense with the reading of Ordinance 984-14 establishing <br />solid waste deposit fee prior to its adoption at this Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called for a roll call vote: <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter - Aye <br />Councilmember Reimann - Aye <br />Mayor Gamec - Aye <br />Councilmember Van Wagner - Aye <br />Councilmember Sorteberg - Aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />2) Adoption Of Ordinance 984-14, Chapter 130.10, Establishing Solid <br /> Waste Deposit Fee - <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the ordinance should address the fact that any <br />materials hauled in by landfill operator to be used for control of <br />erosion or for health, safety and welfare reasons, should not be <br />subject to a tipping fee. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that if it is a material needed by <br />operator for operation of landfill, the City cannot charge tipping fees <br />on it and he is sure the operator will make sure the City is not <br />charging for any more than what is allowed by legislation. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Reimann to adopt Ordinance #84-14, chapter 130.10, which is known as <br />solid waste deposit fee.
