Ordinance #84-13 Establishing City F~nd Accounts; C. <br />Ordinance #84-14 Establishing Solid Waste Deposit Fee; D. <br />Ordinance ~84-15 Regarding Sale of City Property): <br /> <br />a) Ordinance ~84-12 Establishing Purchasing Policy - <br /> <br />1) Reading Of Ordinance - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Re/mann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to dispense with the reading of Ordinance #84-12 establishing the <br />purchasing policy prior to it's adoption at this Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called for a roll call vote: <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter - Aye <br />Councilmember Reimann - Aye <br />Mayor Gamec - Aye <br />Councilmember Van Wagner - Aye <br />Councilmember Reimann - Aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />2) Adoption Of Ordinance #84-12 - <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter inquired as to when a resolution will be <br />adopted setting the amount for Field Purchase Orders. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied that such a resolution will be a good <br />issue for Council's January, 1985 agenda. <br /> <br />City Accountant Haapala stated that the amount will most likely be <br />$50.00; it has always been set at $50.00 in previous years; the amount <br />is being set by resolution to enable more ease in amending should it <br />become necessary, due to inflation for instance. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adopt Ordinance #84-12, (]~apter 10.10, which is known as purchasing <br />policy. Further, this ordinance will be published in the official <br />newspaper and will take effect 30 days after its publication as <br />required by Section 3 of the City Charter.
