Voting No: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Reimann. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec explained that he is opposed to the study because he believes <br />$5,000 is too costly to study such a limited number of staff positions; that <br />the City does have documented job descriptions; and current salaries are <br />basically in line with the Metro means. <br /> <br />Case #8: Bill~ For ApprQval For The Month Of November 1984: <br /> <br />Council consensus was to dispense with the reading of the proposed <br />resolutions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adopt Resolution #84-234 authorizing the payment of bills for the month of <br />November 1984 in the amount of $371,144.89. Green Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that this case is to be deleted from the agenda at the <br />request of Ms. Voit. <br /> <br />MAYOR/C~OUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that she received a call from a member of the <br />Recreational Vehicle Association. The Association feels that Ramsey is not <br />enforcing the Blue Law at Noon's; that Noon's is conducting business on <br />Sundays; and Ramsey is ignoring the violations for favoratism reasons. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that Councilmember Van Wagner inform the Recreational <br />Vehicle Association to submit written documentation regarding the violations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann gave a verbal report on the Community School Task Force <br />Committee. Councilmember Reimann stated that, basically, the program paid for <br />itself last year and the Committee is going to recommend a $1.00 increase in <br />fees this coming year and possibly another $1.00 increase in 1987. All <br />programs will be self sufficient next year with the exception of the summer <br />programs -- baseball and roaming playground. Councilmember Reimann stated <br />that the Task Force should be complete and have a final report prepared by <br />December 11, 1984.
