Ruud, Highway Engitteer <br />COURT HOUSE ANOKA, MINNESOTA 55303 612 21-4760 <br /> <br />December 17, 1984 <br /> <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard <br />Anoka, Minnesota 55303 <br />Attention: Lloyd Schnelle,Clerk <br /> Subject: CR #116 -Rum River Crossing <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br />We have established a centerline for the construction <br />of CR #116 from TH #47 to CSAH #7, and last Thursday <br />reviewed this alignment with Mr. Lyle McLaughlin. <br />The preparation of his preliminary plat of the property <br />adjacent to the corridor for CR #116 will match in <br />well with our original plan for a 200 foot wide right-of-way <br />from TH 47 to the "oxbow" channel of the Rum River. <br /> We concur in your request to release part of the 250 <br /> foot wide corridor that has been protected by the city. <br /> The area released can be that property lying outside <br /> of a 200 foot wide corridor centered on our centerline, <br /> as established. To verify the actual description, <br /> we recommend that the developer, your staff and our <br /> staff meet and review the plat for the development <br /> against the centerline description as now set. <br /> Our consultant has completed his bridge survey and <br /> is working on the preparation of preliminary bridge <br /> plans. We will be completing the topographic survey <br /> of the remainder of the segment and will be working <br /> on preliminary layouts to establish a grade line. <br /> <br />Following completion of these preliminary plans, a <br />design public hearing will be scheduled.
