Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> PROPOSED RESOLUTION g93-06- <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A'X-~ARIANCE AND <br /> DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, Steven Pfeiffer has properly applied for a variance to construct an accessory <br />structure nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the property generally known <br />as 17758 Tonto Street N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of Government Lot 1 and the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of <br />Section 1, Township 32, Range 25 in Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br />Commencing at a point on the east line of said Government Lot 1, said point being a <br />distance of 980.6 feet south of the intersection of the east line of the Northeast Quarter of <br />the Northeast Quarter of said Section 1 and the centerline of County State Aid Highway <br />No. 7 as it is now laid out and travelled, thence north 85 degrees 00 minutes west a <br />distance of 800 feet, thence south 2 degrees 24 minutes east a distance of 335.85 feet to the <br />point of beginning of land to be described; then continue south 2 degrees 24 minutes east <br />on the same described line a distance of 123.68 feet, thence south 79 degrees 36 minutes <br />west a distance of 358.50 feet, thence south 1 degree 07 minutes 58 seconds east a distance <br />of 32.15 feet, thence south 81 degrees 07 minutes 53 seconds west a distance of 293.36 <br />feet, thence north a distance of 366.96 feet on a line which if extended southerly would <br />intersect the south line of said Southwest Quarter of Northeast Quarter at right angles <br />thereto, thence south 79 degrees 55 minutes 48 seconds east a distance of 583.83 feet, <br />thence north 89 degrees 13 minutes 51 seconds east a distance of 58.77 feet to the point of <br />beginning. For the purposes of this description, the east line of said government lot is <br />assumed to bear south (subject to restrictions, reservations or easements of record, if any). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on June 24, 1993, conducted the public <br />hearing and adopted findings of fact. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact # , a variance to construct a 30' x 48' accessory structure <br />nearer the front property line than the principal structure on the subject property is hereby <br />granted. <br /> <br />The accessory garage constructed on the subject property shall not be located any closer <br />than twenty (20) feet to the nearest point on the front property line. <br /> <br />The property owner shall obtain all necessary permits prior to commencing any <br />construction of the accessory sumcture. <br /> <br />The accessory garage shall be constructed in accordance with Section 9.11.02 of the <br />Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />The accessory structure shall be used for storage of personal property and no commercial <br />activity of any type shall be permitted in said structure. <br /> <br />The property owner shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this variance. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Board Member <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
