This comparison of actual performance with expectations and standards serves both as a basis for recognition ol <br />~ccomplishment, as well as a means to plan improvement where deficiencies are found; it may also be utilized in a progressive <br />:lisciplinary process to resolve continuing poor performance. <br /> <br />['his pedormance appraisal may also be used to determine the employee's level of reward in a performance based pay plan. <br /> <br />[-he benefits to be gained are improved or well-maintained personal and department pedormances and efficiency through goat- <br />;etting, communication, and the identification of employee training and development needs; all of which result in improved delivery <br />~f services to Ramsey residents. <br /> <br />NOTICE: <br /> <br />You are required to maintain this form in the employee's personnel file until four (4) years after the employee <br />terminates employment with the C~ty of Ramsey <br /> <br /> <br />
