The Rum River District <br /> <br />In 1992, the Rum River district, located east of Trunk Highway g47, south of Trou Brook and <br />north of 153rd Avenue N.W., received the development of Bear Park off Roanoke Street and <br />Woodland Green improvements south of 157th Avenue N.W. and west of Yak/ma Street N.W. It <br />is proposed that in 1996, from Landfill Trust Funds, $10,000 be allocated to pave the Bear Park <br />parking lot serving the 1992 development of the ballfield. <br /> <br />Pro_leer . AllflJAg <br />Bear parking lot 1996 $ 10,0043 - LFT <br /> <br />$10,000 <br /> <br />Project #11 - The Marble District <br /> <br />The Marble district is located south of 153rd Avenue N.W., west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br />N.W. and east of Ramsey Boulevard. Currently there is some park development in this district at <br />Peltzer Park. It is contemplated that within this Capital Improvements Program in the year 1996, <br />$97,000 will be set aside in order to realize initiation of development of a significant b~llfield area <br />just south of 153rd Avenue N.W. and west of Sunfish Lake Boulevard. Development of this area <br />will provide for an alternative concentrated play and tournament area for youth baseball and softball <br />activities to Central Park. Due to its location adjacent to the urbanizing area of the community, it <br />also provides for fairly accessible recreational oppornmities to this current and future concentration <br />of residential development. <br /> <br />Project - Marble District Yesr ~ <br /> <br />Sunfish Lake Recreational Facility 1996 $ 97,1300 - Park Trust <br /> <br />$ 97,000 <br /> <br />UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />At the beginning of 1993, the utilities system has approximately 400 connection. We currently <br />have one elevated storage tar,3; located north of FIim'wood Hills at the intersection of Dysprosium <br />Street N.W. and County Road #5 and two municipal wells just east of Trunk Highway g47 and <br />south of 142nd Avenue N.W. We are beginning to experience peak usages reaching levels <br />approaching our pumping capacity. With continued growth, it is projected that we should begin <br /> <br /> <br />
