,June 113~ 199:3

To: Mayor Jim Bilbertson
City Engineer Steve Jankowski
Road and Bridge Commission

Re: The Naming DF a Road

In connection with the re-naming of Sunfish Lake Drive I
would like to make this personal request. As per my
submitted entry via the Ramsay Resident, I requested that
Sunfish Lake Drive ( or another street in the same area) be
named Soroggins Drive.
My father, Walter Scroggina, has resided a~ 15141
Sunfish Lake B)vd N.W. since 1932. At the time he moved here
the road was merely a "two-track" He farmed the land he
loved and married Elms Rogers whom he met at the Anoka Ben
Franklin. Together, ~hey reared S successful children there.
The barn burned down several years ago but Walter, now SS,
still resides on his land caring for s few ohiokenaoMost of
his farm land has been sold to a res!tot. As a recognition
to my father, his devotion to the land, family, church, and
as a solid community member I urge you to consider Chis
reques~ with your heart.

Sincerely~

y za oroggzns
2481 Como Ave
St, Paul, Minneaota 55108
