ORDINANCE 93- CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ADDITION TO CHAPTER 8 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE BUILDING AND HOUSING CHAPTER AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 8.35 TO CHAPTER 8 REGULATING SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS AND ACCESSORY STRUCTURE TO BE MOVED INTO OR WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY The City of Ramsey hereby ordains: SECTION 1 Authority This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the City of Ramsey. SECTION 2 Amendment Section 8.35.00 Regulation of Single Family Dwellings and Accessory Structure to be moved into or within the City of Ramsey. Subd. 1 Procedure An applicant seeking to move a single family dwelling within or into the City shall file an application and submit applicable application and escrow fees. Staff shall inspect such structure for building and zoning code compliance, file a written report on findings and .inform the applicant of approval or denial of the application in writing. An applicant aggrieved with Staff's denial may file a written appeal of same with the City Administrator within thirty (30) days of the date of Staff's denial. Said appeal shall be submitted to City Council for a final decision within thirty (30) days of filing. Subd. 2 An applicant seeking to move an accessory structure larger than 280 sq. ft. into or within the City shall file an application and supply .photographs of the structure to City Staff. The applicant shall file appropriate application and escrow fees. a. The decision of Staff to deny or approve the application is final. Subd. 3 Exclusions ao Exclusions shall be prefabricated framed panels for dwellings approved by the State of Minnesota. Subd. 4 Processing Costs ao The City Council shall determine the amount of application and escrow fees by resolution. b. The applicant shall be responsible for all costs incurred by the City.
