PROPOSED WORK PROGRAM <br /> <br />1.0 COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLANNING <br /> <br />1.1 Review Previous Plans and Studies <br /> <br />Review all previous plans and studies that will help us understand <br />the present situation in Ramsey, including: <br /> <br />1980 Comprehensive Plan <br />Minor Comprehensive Plan Amendment, August 7, 1992 <br />Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment, September 24, <br />1990 <br />Highway 10 Corridor Study <br />City Zoning Ordinance <br />Correspondence with the Metropolitan Council <br /> <br />1.2 Identify and Discuss Land Use Issues <br /> <br />Facilitate a special meeting of the City ' Planning and Zoning <br />Commission to identify and discuss land use issues. Invite other <br />City officials such as members of the City Council, Parks <br />Commission and City Staff. Advertise this meeting in the Anoka <br />County Union and the City's monthly newsletter, inviting members <br />of the general public. Use a structured format that encourages <br />individual responses without fear of criticism. <br /> <br />1.3 Update Map of Existing Land Use <br /> <br />Using a map supplied by the City that has all the recent plats, <br />prepare an updated map of 1993 land use based upon a mock-up <br />supplied by the City staff. <br /> <br />1.4 Prepare Vicinity Map <br /> <br />Prepare a map showing generalized land use' in Ramsey and the <br />adjacent portions of the surrounding communities.
