Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Proposed Amendment to Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 (Zoning <br />and Subdlvision of Land), Section 9.20.22 (B-2 Business <br />District) <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the B-3 Business District regulations were mended <br />and, as directed by the Planning and Zoning Commission, she is proposing amendments to <br />the B-2 Business District also. She stated that the amendments include eliminating <br />"Essential Services" from the list of permitted uses in Subdivision 2, the "conditional <br />uses", contingent upon meeting certain criteria, have been revised to "permitted uses". She <br />added that all properties deficient of the required site improvements (pavement and curbing) <br />will have until January 1, 1997 to comply. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend <br />that City Council adopt the proposed ordinance to amend the B-2 Business District <br />regulations. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~vT: Timeliness of Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik presented a memo from City Administrator Schroeder <br />regarding assigning the tasks of taking and transcribing minutes to more than one person <br />which should expedite the turn around time. <br /> ., <br />Consensus of the Planning and Zoning Commission was that this was a sufficient <br />response. <br /> <br />Case #8: Project Status Report <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer requested that the Highway #10 Corridor Study be incorporated <br />into the Status Report. <br /> <br />Case ~9: Discussion of Wetlands <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated he learned there are eight classifications of wetlands and that <br />the DNR deals with Class 3,4,5,6,7, and 8 but does not deal with Class 1 and 2. He felt <br />the Commission would benefit from someone presenting updated information on wetlands. <br /> <br />Case #10: County Road #57 and Highway #10 Intersection Improvements <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that when the City extended south to Riverdale Drive, it <br />installed a right turn lane so northbound traffic could turn east without a signal. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Holland to recommend <br />that the City Engineer present to City Council, a proposal for the County to upgrade the <br />southbound County Road #57 to include a right turn merge lane onto westbound Highway <br />#10. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Holland, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue and Terry.
