CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, <br />November 24, 1992 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerrnan <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson (arrived 9:04 p.m.) <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief Michael Auspos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:39 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson adjourned the regular portion of the Cit~y Council meeting at 7:42 p.m. in <br />order to conduct the following public hearings: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Public hearing for Improvement Project g92-13 - water and sewer extension to PIN <br />25-32-25-23-0005 and 25-32-25-23-0006. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Public hearing for Improvement Project g92-t9 - water and sewer extension to <br />149th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:44 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Sharon Dahlgren, 6328 - 143rd Lane N.W., Ramsey - asked to reserve comments for <br />Cases #2 and #3 regarding the franchise ordinance and the franchise fee ordinance. <br /> <br />Bill Dubats asked to reserve comment for Case g4, ordinance amending Chapter 9. <br /> <br />Bob Brown, Production Design, Inc., inquired of Council what is happening with Danny's <br />Aluminum Processing. He stated he voiced his concerns in'September regarding Danny's <br />operation and those same problems are still present (smoke, ash, litter, garbage, etc.). He <br />presented Council with pictures of Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. He felt the smoke <br />and fumes are getting worse and he has to keep his building closed up in the summer <br />because of this.
