Councitmember <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g93-06 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM B-1 BUSINESS TO R.1 R"IJ-RAL RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Gary Gorham and Wayne Johsnon, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", have <br />properly applied to rezone certain property from B-i Business to R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />That the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section <br />9.03.03 of the City Code on June 1, 1993 and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised and that the mutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />All that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br />County, lvLinnesota described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest comer of said <br />Southwest Quarter of Section 24; thence East (assumed bearing) along the North line of <br />said Southwest Quarter for a distance of 870 feet; thence South 25 degrees East for a <br />distance of 165.5 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; <br />thence West and parallel with said North line of the Southwest Quarter to the West line of <br />said Southwest Quarter;, thence Southerly along said West line to a point distant 362.80 feet <br />North of the intersection of said West line with the centerline of 152nd Avenue N.W., <br />according to the plat of GORHAM'S ADDITION, extended Westerly; thence East at fight <br />angles to said West line for a distance of 140 feet; thence Northeasterly to a point, <br />hereinafter known as Point A, said Point A being located distant 199 feet North of a point <br />on the Northerly right-of-way line of said 152nd Avenue N.W., said 199 feet being <br />measured para/lei with the West line of said Southwest Quarter, and said point on said <br />Northerly fight-of-way line being 220 feet Northeasterly as measured along said right-of- <br />way tine from the intersection of said right-of-way Line with a line parallel with and 140 feet <br />Easterly of the West line of said Southwest Quarter, thence South and parallel with said <br />West line of the Southwest Quarter to an intersection with a line parallel with and distant <br />150 feet Northwesterly from said Northerly right-of-way line of said 152nd Avenue <br />Northwest; thence Northeasterly along said parallel line to an intersection with a I/ne drawn <br />at fight angles to said paralteI line and passing through a point on said Northerly fight-of- <br />way line distant 605 feet Southwesterly of the Southwest comer of Lot 2 of Block 1 of said <br />GORHAM'S ADDITION; thence Northwesterly at fight angles to said parallel tine for a <br />distance of 183 feet; thence Northeasterly parallel with said Northerly fight-of-way line to <br />an intersection with the centerline of State Trunk Highway Number 47; thence <br />Northwesterly along said centerline to an intersection with a line drawn parallel with the <br />North tine of said Southwest Quarter and passing through the point of beginning; thence to <br />the point of beginning. <br /> <br />'70 <br /> <br /> <br />
