Monthly Status Report <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Pending <br /> <br />5/4/93 <br /> <br />7/6/93 <br /> <br />Regarding moving structures into and within the City of Ramsey: <br />As per discussion, prepare an ordinance that would ban moving <br />principal or accessory structures into the City that are larger than <br />280 sq. ft. or the maximum square footage the Uniform Building <br />Code allows consumction without footings, whichever figure is <br />smaller. Attorney advised against prohibition. Prepare ordinance <br />for subcommittee review to establish strict regulations. <br /> <br />Regarding the request for sketch plan review of Sunfish Square: <br />The P&Z Commission approved the sketch plan with modification <br />as discussed in the City Staff review letter dated May 25, 1993 and <br />based on discussion, and directed the developer to proceed to apply <br />for preliminary plat approval accordingly. <br /> <br />Regarding the request for sketch plan review of Chestnut Ridge, the <br />P&Z Commission voted to table this case until they receive an <br />explanation of the wetlands from the DNR and the location of <br />Sunfish Lake Drive is resolved. Developer has scaled back <br />Chestnut Ridge to exclude area impacted by extension of Sunfish <br />Lake Drive and applied for preliminary plat approval. Pending <br />portion of this area will now be referred to as Chestnut Ridge 2nd <br />Addition. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Pending <br /> <br />Pending <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />8/3/93 <br /> <br />8/27/92 <br />8/19/93 <br /> <br />9/7/93 <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer again suggested the City look at <br />strengthening the littering ordinance, and Commissioner Terry <br />suggested possibly offering a citizen reward, similar to the City of <br />Minneapolis, for furnishing evidence of the identity of those <br />illegally dumping in the City limits. <br />During a Council Workshop, it was suggested that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission should discuss an architectural review <br />ordinance. <br />Regarding Lynn Mortenson's request for a variance to minimum <br />street frontage requirements to construct a dwelling on a 40 acre <br />parcel: The P&Z tabled action on this case until verification of the <br />following: 1) Recommendation from the Parks Department as to <br />what the.y would like to do for park dedication if they have the <br />opponumty. 2) Opinion from City Attorney as to whether the City <br />has the right to park dedication in this particular case. 3) Opinion <br />from City Attorney as to whether a variance is needed if applicant <br />has required frontage on State Highway #47 but wants to access <br />Osmium Street of which he does not have the minimum frontage. <br />The meeting was recessed until September 7, 1993. <br />Regarding Mike Sjoquist's request for site plan review: The P&Z <br />Commission voted to recommend that City Council grant site plan <br />approval to Mike's Woodworking for an expansion to the <br />warehouse facility. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Complete <br /> <br />9/7/93 <br /> <br />Findings of Fact - Curtiss Titterud's CUP for an accessory <br />apartment in the R-1 Rural District: The P&Z Commission <br />approved 1-12, and directed staff to amend 13-18 in the <br />affirmative. The P&Z Commission voted to accept the Findings <br />of Fact as amended and recommended that City Council adopt <br />them. Forward to City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
