Cmmciln'~ember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #93-01- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING THAT <br />ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS PLACE FOR PUBLIC SALE <br />TIIE FOLLOWING TAX FORFEITED PROPERTIES: P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0009, <br />P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0014 AND P.I.N. 01-32-25.13-0014 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners approved Anoka County <br />Resolution No. 92-142 providing authority under Chapter 282 of Minnesota Statutes for public <br />sale of land situated in Anoka County which is forfeited to the State of Minnesota for nonpayment <br />of taxes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the classification and sale of tax forfeit land lying within the bounds of any <br />organized town with a taxable value in excess of $20,000 of an incorporated municipality must be <br />approved by the Council of each City insofar as lands located therein are concerned; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the town board or governing body will be deemed to have approved <br />classification sale if the County Board is not notified of the disapproval of the classification sale <br />within ninety (90) days of the date requested for approval as transmitted to the town board or <br />governing body; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, if the town board or governing body desires to acquire any parcel lying in <br />the town or municipality by procedures authorized in Section 282.01, it shall within ninety (90) <br />days of the requested classification and sale, file a written application to the County Board to <br />wiihhold the parcel from public sale for one year. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />()F RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey hereby approves and recommends for public sale the following <br />properties: P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0009, P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0014 and P.I.N. 01-32-25-13- <br />0014. <br /> <br />2)" That Anoka County attempt to sell the propert~, known as P.I.N. 01-32-25-13-0014 to one <br /> of the adjacent property owners as it is an unbuildable lot. <br /> <br />3) That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councitmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereur~on said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey CiD, Council this <br />the 12tt~ day of January, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />
