Cmmciln'~ember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #93-01- RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING THAT ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS PLACE FOR PUBLIC SALE TIIE FOLLOWING TAX FORFEITED PROPERTIES: P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0009, P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0014 AND P.I.N. 01-32-25.13-0014 WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners approved Anoka County Resolution No. 92-142 providing authority under Chapter 282 of Minnesota Statutes for public sale of land situated in Anoka County which is forfeited to the State of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes; and WHEREAS, the classification and sale of tax forfeit land lying within the bounds of any organized town with a taxable value in excess of $20,000 of an incorporated municipality must be approved by the Council of each City insofar as lands located therein are concerned; and WHEREAS, the town board or governing body will be deemed to have approved classification sale if the County Board is not notified of the disapproval of the classification sale within ninety (90) days of the date requested for approval as transmitted to the town board or governing body; and WHEREAS, if the town board or governing body desires to acquire any parcel lying in the town or municipality by procedures authorized in Section 282.01, it shall within ninety (90) days of the requested classification and sale, file a written application to the County Board to wiihhold the parcel from public sale for one year. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ()F RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby approves and recommends for public sale the following properties: P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0009, P.I.N. 34-32-25-13-0014 and P.I.N. 01-32-25-13- 0014. 2)" That Anoka County attempt to sell the propert~, known as P.I.N. 01-32-25-13-0014 to one of the adjacent property owners as it is an unbuildable lot. 3) That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councitmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereur~on said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey CiD, Council this the 12tt~ day of January, 1993.
