Councilmember <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />APPLICATION <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-01- <br /> <br />APPROVING ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION'S <br />FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR GAMBLING AT J.R.'S <br /> <br />SALOON AND FOOD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is in receipt of a Minnesota Lawful Gambling Premises <br />Permit application from the Anoka Area Hockey Association; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of this application was received by the City of Ramsey on January 4, <br />1993; and <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the applicant desires to operate charitable gambling pursuant to State Law; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant will conduct these activities at 6141 Highway #10 N.W. in <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the premise permit <br />application of the Anoka Area Hockey Association for gambling at J.R.'s Saloon and <br />Food. <br /> <br />2) That any requisite investigative period is hereby waived. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12th day of January, 1993. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
