I believe our options at this point are as follows:

1. Take no further action and wait until summer to see if
350 pigs on the site will in fact reduce the odor to a
tolerable condition.

2. Negotiate with Mr. Barthold further to reduce the number
and/or make improvements to the site such as concrete
which will help reduce the .od9~~___
-------------
-- ----

Commence nuisance prosecution now and let the Court deal~
with the issue. ____

The problem with options 1 and 2 above are timing. If we learn in
June or July that 350 pigs are too many because of citizen odor
complaints, it will be very difficult to get the Court to resolve
the issue in a short time during the summer season.

I would appreciate Council direction on which option to take.

1/;3/JJ
j)a-~ ~ ~yt-/
~ ')Wv ~~l~ ~~ ;tj;~~~
~:t~~u4~J~
A. ;^^ f ~ ~:J/:-J ~.
~~,.

~~~
~
J~ / YJt~
IrY)}I(~~ 'n./II
