Visual checks for debris accumulation shall be made at least once daily by <br />employees of the Pen'nit Holder. <br /> <br />Aluminum Processing Equipment. All equipment and vehicles utilized in the conduct <br />of business at Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. shall be periodically inspected and <br />maintained to minimize noise, odors, safety and fn-e safety concerns and to assure optimum <br />pollution control. <br /> <br />Water Quality. Surface and ground waters originating outside and passing through or <br />adjacent to the Site and runoff water discharged from the Site shall, at its point of departure <br />from the Site, meet all applicable federal and state water quality standards as they exist from <br />time to time during the period of this CUP. The operator shall perform any water treatment <br />necessary to comply with applicable state and federal water quality standards as they exist <br />from time to time during the period of this CUP. Grading and drainage plans shall be <br />submitted to and approved by the City Engineer. Berming shall be installed as necessary to <br />control run-off. <br /> <br />Screening. The Permit Holder agrees to screen the outside storage area and feedstock <br />preparation area from public view Such screening shall be achieved using fencing, <br />grading, landscape elements, and/or plant materials which will achieve 90% opacity. <br />Exterior storage of accepted material is prohibited unless properly screened from public <br />view. <br /> <br />Off-Street Parking. Off-street parking shall be provided such that there is at least one <br />parking space for each employee on the maximum working shift plus three spaces for <br />visitor parking. <br /> <br />Pavement Surfacing. Ail storage areas, parking areas, loading docks and driveway <br />areas shall be surfaced with bituminous or concrete. <br /> <br />Scope and Conduct of Operations. The operations permitted by this CUP may be <br />performed on the Subject Property in conformance with existing statutory and regulatory <br />authority and requirements of the City, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Count),"), and the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency CMPCA"). <br /> <br />Furnaces. This permit shall be issued allowing for the use of two melt furnaces as <br />described by the applicant in the CUP application suppor~ information for the CUP issued <br />on November 30, 1990. An increase in furnace capacity or a third melt furnace shall not be <br />added to the operation without application and approval of a new CUP. <br /> <br />Site Conditions. The Permit Holder shall regularly police the area open or visible to the <br />public so as to keep it in a neat, orderly, sanitary and aesthetic condition at all times. <br /> <br />Site Security. The Permit holder shall restrict access to the site after business hours to <br />minimize the occurrence of unauthorized drop off of waste materials. <br /> <br />Restricted Materials. No waste materials 'shall be stored on the site which are not <br />utilized in the aluminum processing operation ,or properly identified as materials incidental <br />to the processing operation. Such materials are limited to aluminum, brass, copper, <br />stainless steel and other non hazardous metals received as a small portion (less than 10% by <br />volume) of an aluminum feedstock load. <br /> <br /> <br />
