MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator <br />Ramsey City Council <br /> <br />James Gromberg, Project Manager ,,,,/.*~ <br />Agreement for Residential Recycling/Program <br /> <br />March 8, 1993 <br /> <br />The City has received a new Agreement for Residential Recycling Program from Anoka <br />County. I have drafted the enclosed resolution for City Council approval of the agreement <br />for a total of $25,120.60. Included in the resolution is the direction that the entire amount <br />of funds be used to reimburse the City for the cost of the City-wide Curbside Recycling <br />Program. I have also enclosed a copy of the proposed agreement for your review. <br /> <br />This amount of funding includes only the funds for the first half of 1993 as Anoka County <br />has not yet received payment for the second half of 1993. The County will be sending a <br />new agreement for the second half funding when the state provides those funds. This <br />amount also includes a bonus of $8,422.92 for the City making it's goal of 757 tons for <br />1992. If the County does receive the second half funds, the City will receive an additional <br />$16,697.68 for landfill abatement activities. The total funding will be $41,818.28 <br />compared to $32,888.40 for 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
