Piirk Dedication: At the time of preliminary plat approval, the Ramsey Park <br />and Recreation Commission recommended requinng a cash contribution to <br />satisfy park dedication requirements for the entirety of Ramsey Meadows. <br />There is 20 foot wide park corridor shown on the boundau, between Blocks <br />1 and 2. In order to make effective use of the pedestrian/bike trail between <br />150th and l~19th Lane, it is necessary that this connector and a similar <br />connector width be obtained from the property to the south. Negotiations <br />with the landowner to the south have begun, but have not been finalized at <br />this point. Staff would recommend escrowing the cost of constructing an <br />eight foot wide bituminous walkway over the portion of the plat designated <br />as park. Because this is a connector, the constructed value of this walkway <br />is not eligible for credit towards the park dedication due on the property. <br />The cash payment due is $11,160.00 (18 lots x $620/1ot). <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, <br />1993, to consider your request for final plat approval of Ramsey Meadows 2nd <br />Addition. I suggest that you, or your representative, be present at the meeting to <br />answer any questions that may arise. <br /> <br />The proposed development a~eement is enclosed for your review and information <br />purposes. At the date of this writing, staff had not completed calculating the dollar <br />numbers.
