The Subject Property owner, Julie Hills, would not grant permission to <br />inspect the site because the owner of SR Auto, Radu Kryshmaru, was not present. <br /> <br />That on February 20, 2004, a Community Development staff person, as well as <br />representatives from Anoka County Environmental Services, met with Radu Kryshmaru <br />and conducted an inspection of the Subject Property. There were several vehicles on site <br />that were being cannibalized for their parts and there were also automotive parts being <br />stored outside. Also, SR Auto was operating without their City license for 2004. The <br />owner of SR Auto was informed that all vehicles on the Subject Property that were being <br />used strictly for their parts, as well as all the automotive parts being stored outside, must <br />be removed from the property. The representatives from Anoka County Environmental <br />Services noted several violations concerning hazardous materials and record keeping as <br />well. <br /> <br />That on March 1, 2004, Anoka County Environmental Services provided written <br />notification to SR Auto noting the violations as well as correction orders. The notice <br />indicated a necessary compliance date of March 15, 2004. <br /> <br />That on February 25, 2004, SR Auto submitted an application for their 2004 City of <br />Ramsey Motor VehiCle Sales, Repair and/or Rental License. <br /> <br />That the Community Development Department put a hold on the application until all <br />outstanding issues had been resolved. <br /> <br />That the Community Development Department requested an inspection be conducted by <br />the Fire Department-to verify if the safety issues relating to both the Fire and Building <br />Codes had been resolved at the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That on March 17, 2004, Anoka County Environmental Services contacted the City and <br />stated that SR Auto had satisfied their concerns that were identified during the February <br />20, 2004 inspection. <br /> <br />That on April 1, 2004 the Fire Department conducted a site inspection of SR Auto. The <br />Subject Property owner, Julie Hills, attempted to deny them permission for this inspection <br />because the owner of SR Auto was not present. However, the Fire Code enables the Fire <br />Department to enter a property for an inspection if there is reasonable concern that public <br />sa~bty is in jeopardy. The .Fire Department walked throughout the site and took pictures <br />to document the violations. <br /> <br />That the Fire Department contacted Radu Kryshmaru by phone to schedule a follow-up <br />inspection on either April 12 or 13, 2004. Radu Kryshmaru was also informed that his <br />application for a Motor Vehicle Sales, Repair and/or Rental license was being placed on <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-04- <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
