CASE #

IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g93-11
BITUMINOUS PAVING OF HEDGEHOG STREET
152ND AVENUE N.W.
By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer

N.W. AND

Background:

Prior to this case, a public hearing will be held on the attached feasibility study for the
bituminous paving of Hedgehog Street N.W. and 152nd Avenue N.W. This feasibility
study was prepared in response to a petition for the study which was certified by the City
Council on May 25, 1993.

Following the public hearing, the Council should direct any changes to the feasibility study
it deems necessary as a result of the testimony at the public hearing or accept the feasibility
study as it has been presented. The feasibility study, as finally accepted, will become the
basis for the improvements and their associated financing. If the project, as defined by the
feasibility study, is unacceptable to the majority of the parties to be assessed, a petition by
those parties presented within 60 days of the public heariag will prevent the Council from
considering the project further. If no such petition is received, the Council, at its
discretion, may order the project with the initiation of plans and specification preparations.
This authorization could occur no earlier than the September 14, 1993 Council meeting.

Council Action:

Motion to accept feasibility study as submitted or direct changes.

Reviewed by:

CC: 0~13~3

Copies distributed to:

City Administrator
Finance Officer
City Attorney
Project Manager
