Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g93-08- RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION RENEWAL APPLICATIONS FOR PREMISE PERMITS FOR GAMBLING AT TWO SITES IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association has applied for renewal of their premise permits for gambling at the following three sites: J.R.'s Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway #10 N.W. and McDuft's Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and WHEREAS, the applications for J.R.'s and McDuff's are for pull-tabs; and WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association is in compliance with Chapter 7 of the Ramsey City Code and has filed repons required by the City of Ramsey in a timely manner, and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premises permit renewal application for J.R.'s Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway #10 N.W. That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premises permit renewal application for McDuffs Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard N.W. 3) and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the renewal applications and whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of August, 1993.
