I I I I I I '1 I I I I I I I '1 I I I CASE By: ADDRESS CHANGES James Gromberg, Project Manager Background: The Ramsey Police Department has notified me that the following addresses have been assigned incorrectly: 16378 Yttrium Street N.W. 16351 Yttrium Street N.W. 7300 150th Lane N.W. As Exhibit A shows, the addresses on Yttrium Street N.W. should be changed to odd numbers to conform with the rest of the City. The proposed changes listed on Exhibit A would allow the addresses to fit the current pattern of the area. Exhibit B shows the changes required for the address on 150th Lane N.W. The address that needs to be changed should also have an odd number to conform with the address system for the City. Exhibit B provides a new address for this property. The City has notified the owners of these properties to inform them of the impending change in the attached letter dated July 28, 1993. Also attached is a resolution making the changes and setting a date in which they will take effect. This resolution will also rescind Resolution #93-07-134 adopted July 13, 1993 regarding the address changes. This is necessary in that we had not provided affected property owners with proper notice prior to the earlier Council action. Following formal approval, we will be sending a letter to the affected property owners and the companies and agencies that are normally notified when addresses are issued to new subdivisions. Recommendation: Staff recommends the adoption of the resolution changing the above addresses effective September 1, 1993 and rescinding Resolution g93-07-134 City Council Action: Motion to adopt/not adopt Resolution g93-08- changing certain addresses in the City of Ramsey and Rescinding Resolution g93-07-134.
