CotmcJkncmb~ RESOLUTION APPLICATION CHARITABLE RAMSEY inm:x/uced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA-CHAMPLIN FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR APPLICATION FOR PREMISE PERMITS FOR GAMBLING (BINGO) AT ST. ANTHONY GUN CLUB IN WHEREAS, the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department has applied for a premise permit for gambling at the St~ Anthony gun Club, 16128 Variolite Street N.W., Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department would be considered to operate within the trade area per the City's Gambling Ordinance; and WHEREAS, the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department has requested Council waive the 30- day notice provision; and WHEREAS, the application is to conduct bingo; and WHEREAS, the permit is temporary and is scheduled for Sunday, September 12, 1993; and WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requ/res the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the temporary premises permit application request for the Anoka-Champtin Fire Depm anent to Conduct bingo at the St. Anthony Gun Club at 16128 Variolite Street N.W., Ramsey. 2) That the City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of August, 1993.
