I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />REMINDER NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY--- <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: <br /> <br />A reminder of the original notice of a public hearing is hereby given that the Ramsey City Council <br />will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 14, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal <br />Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to <br />issue its finding on the Environmental Assessment Worksheet described as follows: <br /> <br /> An Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) has been prepared for the final <br />section of 153rd Avenue N.W. The proposed project consists of the construction of <br />approximately .69 miles of collector roadway between Variolite S~eet N.W. and County <br />Road//83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.). The proposed project comprises a major segment of <br />an east/west corridor identified in the City's transportation plan. <br /> <br /> The proposed alignment traverses undeveloped and Iow density residential parcels <br />which are zoned "R-1R" (minimum lot size of 2.5 acres). The 80' right-of-way for the <br />road encompasses approximately 6.72 acres. The proposed alignment skirts a protected <br />wetland (lllP); approximately 1.31 acres of Type IV wetlands will be impacted. <br />Mitigation will be provided through the creation of a new wetland basin and enhancement <br />of existing wetlands. When completed, the roadway is expected to carry an average daily <br />traffic load in excess of 600 average daily trips (ADT) ,6'ith single lanes in each direction. <br /> <br />All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and comment on the Environmental <br />Assessment Worksheet. <br /> <br />This notice is a reminder of the original public hearing dated July 15, 1993 advising you of the <br />public hearing for comment on the above mentioned EAW and this public hearing to issue its <br />finding. <br /> <br />Written comments are welcome and shall be addressed to the Ramsey City Council, 15153 <br />Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, 55303.
