I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />DISCUSS SNOWMOBILE ORDINANCE <br />By: Michael Auspos, Police Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Earlier in 1993, Council directed me to work with interested citizens and snowmobile <br />groups to discuss the snowmobile ordinance with the purpose of seeing if it needed to be <br />changed or otherwise modified. <br /> <br />A meeting regarding this issue was conducted at Ramsey City Hall on Wednesday, June <br />16, 1993. This meeting had been advertised in the Ramsey Newsletter and all persons who <br />had attended a previous Council meeting and had commented were notified of this meeting. <br />The results of the meeting were given to Councilmembers via office mail and are contained <br />in this case as well as Staff comments regarding various options. <br /> <br />Copies of the options went out to the persons present at the June 16th meeting and they will <br />be notified of the September 14, 1993 discussion with Council. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Discuss the presented materials and examine options wkich include changing the ordinance <br />or mainta~ing the status quo of the present ordinance. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />Police Chief <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC: 09/14/93 <br /> <br />Copies also distributed to: <br />Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />/39 <br /> <br /> <br />
