ORDINANCE g93- CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ADDITION TO CHAPTER 8 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE BUILDING AND HOUSING CHAPTER AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 8.35 TO CHAPTER 8 REGULATING SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS TO BE MOVED INTO OR WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY The City of Ramsey hereby ordains: SECTION 1 AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the City of Ramsey. SECTION 2 AMENDMENT Section 8.35.00 Regulation of Single Family Dwellings to be moved into or within the City of Ramsey. Subd. 1 State License Required No person shall move, remove, or raise any single family dwelling within the limits of the City without a license to do so from the state. Subd. 2 City Permit Required A building permit issued by the City of Ramsey is required to move an accessory structure into or within the City of Ramsey. A Building Moving Permit issued by the City of Ramsey is required to move a single family dwelling unit into or within the City if any of the following apply: a. The destination is the City. b. The origin and desitnation are in the City. The term single family dwelling unit as used herein shall include pre-existing dwelling structures and manufactured housing to be located in other than a mobile home park. Subd. 3 Exemption to City Permit 1. Prefabricated framed panels for dwellings approved by the State of Minnesota. Subd. 4 Procedure For Obtaining City Permit a. An applicant seeking to move a dwelling within or into the City shall file an application with the City and submit application and escrow fees in amount estabLished by City Council resolution. b.
