ORDI~,NC]~ NO, 9 3- CITY OF RAMBEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ADDITION TO CHAPTER 8 OF THE CITY CODE WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE BUILDING AND HOUSING CHAPTER. AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 8.35 TO CHAPTER 8 OF THE CITY CODE REGULATING SINGLE FAMILY DWELLINGS TO BE MOVED INTO OR WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY. The city of Ramsey ordains: SECTION 1. AUTHORITY. This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the city of Ramsey. SECTION 2. AMENDMENT. Section 8.35.00 entitled "Regulation of Single Family Dwellings to be moved into or within the City" shall be added to the City Code, which section shall provide as follows: Subd. I Definitions. The term "single family dwelling unit" or "dwelling" means pre-existing dwelling structures and manufactured housing to be located in other than a mobile home park. "Subject Property" means the parcel of real property on Which the dwelling is to be located. Subd. 2 State License Required. No person shall move, remove, or raise any dwelling within the limits of the City without a license to do so from the State of Minnesota. Subd. 3 City Permits Required. ae A building permit issued by the city is required to move a dwelling into or within the City. be In addition to the building permit, a Dwelling Moving Permit ("DMP") is required to move a dwelling into or within the City if any of the following apply: The destination of the dwelling is within the City.
