Emerald Pond Park, Flintwood Hills Park and River's Bend Park. In 1996, it is proposed that Flintwood Hills Park, at the intersection of Dysprosium Street N.W. and 142nd Avenue N.W., receive a $32,000 playground and shelter improvement utilizing Landfill Trust Fund dollars. As this subdivision was a Tax Increment Project, it also would be eligible for improvements out of that fund if revenues become available. The last projected improvement in this district is a 1996, $5t,000 Park Trust Fund improvement entitled The Sunfish Lake Trail, which is intended to connect to the Wood Pond Hills trail system and the Ramsey Elementary School concurrent with the development of available land north of Sunfish Lake Drive N.W., south of 153rd Avenue N.W. and east of Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. Project . Contemplated is a tot-lot and batlfield development. This neighborhood park will become increasingly important as 'this neighborhood develops and as Trunk Highway #47 and County Road #5 become increasingly important arterials. Project . Pr~tjrie District Year ~ Sunny Ponds Park 1994 $ 29,177 - Park Trust $ 29,177 Project #6 - The Oxbow District Included in the Oxbow district are two sidewalk and trail developments currently projected for 1993, concurrent with subdivision improvements. The first is entitled the River's Bend sidewalk, paid for by approximately $13,000 in MSA funds providing for an off-road sidewalk along Xldmo Street N.W. to 142nd Avenue N.W. and then from the intersection of Trunk Highway #47 and 142nd Avenue N.W. east to the River's Bend Park, providing for a safe pedestrian way in this commercial area adjacent to residential and park uses. The second is the development of the Amber Ridge/Juniper Woods trail that will occur concurrent with the Amber Ridge subdivision which wilt provide for a safe pedestrian way for the Stanhope Terrace, River's Bluff, Rum Acres, Juniper Woods, Gorham Sandy Acres and Amber Ridge neighborhoods to access the River's Bend Park. It will also provide completion of the pedestrian way from 142nd Avenue N.W. to 150th Avenue N.W. along Trunk Highway g47.
