Emerald Pond Park, Flintwood Hills Park and River's Bend Park. In 1996, it is proposed that <br />Flintwood Hills Park, at the intersection of Dysprosium Street N.W. and 142nd Avenue N.W., <br />receive a $32,000 playground and shelter improvement utilizing Landfill Trust Fund dollars. As <br />this subdivision was a Tax Increment Project, it also would be eligible for improvements out of <br />that fund if revenues become available. The last projected improvement in this district is a 1996, <br />$5t,000 Park Trust Fund improvement entitled The Sunfish Lake Trail, which is intended to <br />connect to the Wood Pond Hills trail system and the Ramsey Elementary School concurrent with <br />the development of available land north of Sunfish Lake Drive N.W., south of 153rd Avenue <br />N.W. and east of Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W. <br /> <br />Project . Contemplated is a tot-lot and batlfield development. This <br />neighborhood park will become increasingly important as 'this neighborhood develops and as <br />Trunk Highway #47 and County Road #5 become increasingly important arterials. <br /> <br />Project . The first is entitled the River's Bend sidewalk, <br />paid for by approximately $13,000 in MSA funds providing for an off-road sidewalk along Xldmo <br />Street N.W. to 142nd Avenue N.W. and then from the intersection of Trunk Highway #47 and <br />142nd Avenue N.W. east to the River's Bend Park, providing for a safe pedestrian way in this <br />commercial area adjacent to residential and park uses. The second is the development of the Amber <br />Ridge/Juniper Woods trail that will occur concurrent with the Amber Ridge subdivision which wilt <br />provide for a safe pedestrian way for the Stanhope Terrace, River's Bluff, Rum Acres, Juniper <br />Woods, Gorham Sandy Acres and Amber Ridge neighborhoods to access the River's Bend Park. <br />It will also provide completion of the pedestrian way from 142nd Avenue N.W. to 150th Avenue <br />N.W. along Trunk Highway g47. <br /> <br /> <br />
