Then in 1995, as part the the roadway construction project, a trail be developed
utilizing MSA funds along this extension connecting to the trail system in the Itaska/Ermine
districts. This will allow for the residents in the Greenland Hills and nearby districts and
neighborhoods to access the Whispering Pines Park, and the Itaska/Ermine trail system and it
completes two-thirds of a trail loop that when completed will connect to Traprock Park, Central
Park and Autumn Heights Park.

Pro_iect - Greenland Hills Year F. aalliag

Trail development from Variolite 1995 $ 41,000 - MS A
Street N.W. to Armstrong Boulevard
N.W.

$ 41,000

Project #3 - Autumn Heights

In 1993, Central Park will receive a looped trail within the park utilizing Community Development
Block Grant dollars. It is further projected that in the years 1997 and 1998, a second phase of Central Park will
be developed increasing the density of ballfield development and similar services at Central Park.
Projected is $80,000 in each year from the Landfill Trust Fund.

Project - Autumn Heights Year ~
Central Park trail 1993 $ 9,000
Autumn Heights wail loop 1996 $ 98,000
Central Park development 1997 $ 80,000
Central Park development 1998 $ 80,000

- Intergovernmental

- LFT

- LFT

- LFT

$ 267,000

Project #4 - Sunfish Lake

The Sunfish Lake district is the area of most active urbanization within the community of Ramsey.
Most of the park development that has been occurring and will occur in the near future will happen
because of park dedication revenues in to the Park Trust Fund. 1993 will see a continuation of the
Emerald Pond Park development just north of County Road #116 east of Tungsten Street N.W.
The completed park will realize a ballfield/soccer field, trail system, picnic and playground areas, a
shelter and parking lot. While projected as a 1993 development, improvements will be completed
as park dedication revenue becomes available. It is proposed to develop the Wood Pond Hills trail
system in 1994 through use of Intergovernmental Revenues and Landf'fll Trust Fund dollars for the
local match.
